NOTE: I woke up at 2:30 AM on 1/26 madder than a hornet, from a dead sleep, to realize that I didn’t post on 1/25. I’m doing it retro-actively, dang it!

Something that makes me feel strong is my ability to help anyone and to be kind and caring, so I don’t stoop to the standard of hate that this world seems to have adopted.

I work in customer service and I work like I live my life: by the Golden Rule, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Basically, treat others the way, if not better than, you want to be treated.

That does NOT mean be a doormat, but talk to people as real people, listen, and see what they are needing and guide them. I know all about being a doormat, after nearly three decades of abuse; however, I choose love over meanness, and kindness over apathy.

Even Martin Luther King, Jr. agrees. “Hate is too great a burden to bear.” When a person frees themselves of hate and bitterness, they feel light and their life fully begins!

After being treated so badly, I could choose to be angry, bitter, and hateful — by my superpower is spreading beauty and love and laughter! Love and light!
