I don’t know about you, but I’m a visual-spacial person and I HAVE to have structure (especially with a TBI and anxiety issues). So, I still carry a day-planner with me, even in this digital age! I heavily depend on calendars personally and professionally, but replacing day-planner packs can get costly.
I use calendars for personal appointments, personal & professional deadlines, tracking my cycle, counting carbs, tracking gym classes, tracking bills due, recording when I’m supposed to be paid, keeping track of holidays & birthdays, and blog planning. I rely heavily on paper calendars and will use digital to set reminders. I have a system that still seems antiquated, but I still have to have the tactile part for me to remember!
Recently, I’ve made my own out of a three-ring binder. I now print what I need, which is SO much cheaper! As a mother, when I was younger, I had schedules for everyone on the refrigerator, as well as what I was serving for dinner every night of the week, based on our schedules (it also kept me on track so I knew what to thaw out!). Printing is so much faster than drawing up your own calendar (although I’ve had to do that too!) and cheaper than buying pre-made. This site makes it easy! Even if you don’t have your own printer and have to print at the library (ours is 10 cents per page) or at work (use that one sparingly and ask permission), it’s still waaaaaaay cheaper than buying something pre made off of Amazon. I have also turned my children on to this site. There are also MANY different styles on this site to choose from. If all else fails, there’s always searching calendar printable online and seeing what’s available. I highly recommend checking out this site FIRST!
Love and light and planning! <3
