What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?

I don’t mind flying on commercial airplanes, for work or pleasure, but I don’t like flying on small planes…that being said, I think I want to learn to pilot one…a Cessna, or something about that size. Not a stunt pilot, just going from point A to B, safely.
To be honest, I’m afraid that they’ll fall right out of the sky. But maybe if I’m flying it, I’d be fine? I base this particular thought on being better mentally when I drive my own vehicle, as opposed to riding in a vehicle as a passenger. I mean, I feel more in control, I get less car sick, I can regulate stops — I just feel more in control and it feels less chaotic and harsh. Also feel that is how things would play out if I was the pilot of a small aircraft.
Problems that I foresee, however, include NO BATHROOMS and NO WHERE TO PULLOVER EXCEPT AIRPORTS. And, well, there’s that whole falling out of the sky thing…at least with cars you can pull it over to the side of the road, if you blew a tire or had engine trouble.
I’m still on the fence about this, honestly…maybe I’ll just go and learn the guitar…I can deal with bleeding fingers better than imminent death…AND it’s cheaper…
